Shannon has finally found an outlet for her love of animals. For the last while, she has been volunteering at

Katie's Place is a privately run, non-profit animal shelter here in Maple Ridge B.C.
The shelter takes in all kinds of homeless animals, but is mainly concerned with cats,
which just happens to be Shannon's favourite animal.
Shannon goes to Katie's Place every weekend and cleans the animals food and water dishes,
gives the animals food and water, and cleans cat hair off of all the furniture.
After that, she spends some time playing with and cuddling the cats.
